How to Install FileZilla Client?
First of all you should know this, it's important to know that there are three different versions of FileZilla Client - Zipped, Installer, and Source Code, those are designed to serve the same purposes, but in different ways. Installer and Zipped versions only support data uploading and downloading, but the Source Code lets seasoned programmers access, edit, modify, or/and compile the source code of the FTP application due to its open-source nature. Let's first understand these versions so that it becomes easier to decide which version to choose when it comes to the FTP client.
Source Code
The Source Code version is by far the most advanced module that has particularly been designed to allow seasoned programmers to access, edit and modify the source code of the application along with offering the standard data transmission facility like the previous two versions. Download the Source Code version.
Zipped
The Version is like the Portable version but all the file must be in the same folder where the filezilla.exe exist.
With an unzipping tool, you can extract the downloaded files to a folder on your system. Then start FileZilla by double-clicking the filezilla.exe file to begin the process.
If you wish to install FileZilla on a Pendrive or any other kind of Portable Storage, you need to extract the content of the ZIP file to it. After that, you are required to create a "fzdefaults.xml" file in the same directory and that's it. Download the Zip version
